Description

Examines how Indigenous and Native communities acquire and transmit traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) across generations to maintain stewart relationships with their environments. Emphasis will be placed on how Indigenous languages, ceremonial cycles, territories, and sacred histories contribute to the sustainability of local and regional resources as well as the perpetuation of Indigenous ways of knowing and understanding of lived experiences.
